As you might have already noticed, I’ve lost contact with my posting schedule. She’s gone, she packed her bags, and left for a better world. But here’s the deal, there are only two Wednesdays left this year, and one of them is Christmas. So, I thought this would be a good time for a hiatus. And, my one year anniversary falls on a Wednesday! January 1st, I’ll probably do something special, like, showing up, yelling “did ya miss me!” and then disappearing for another three weeks. My favorite trick.
Oh, yeah, and remember that Wishmaker animation I mentioned in my survey? Well, I’ve been working on it, and I’m learning why it takes years for new Pixar movies to come out. And it takes longer than ever when you’re better at procrastination than drawing. (haha self roast) But my work so far has been fun! Very excited to show y’all sometime before 2045.
I’ve also mentioned that I did NaNoWriMo, and……. I did not win. This is my first time not winning, and YES it was an ego check and YES I absolutely needed one of those. But, I did make a lot of progress with The Wishmaker, and it’s redefined to me how much I can write in a day.
It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a year since I started this blog. Because I see a lot of people doing “end of year wrap-ups” around this time, I figured I should do that in my last post of the year:
Blog started on: January 1st, 2019
My first follower was: one of the many people I hit when I threw paper airplanes with my blog name on them out my window at traffic
My most popular post is: This is Not the Post You’re Looking For, the one I worked hardest on
Did I hide a secret message in all my posts that you can decode if you read them backwards: no, sure I didn’t
Number of posts I wrote whilst wearing a silly hat: you will never know
My personal favorite post: this one
How many times a blog post caught on fire as I wrote it: like, all the time. It’s a real problem. They just burst into flames.
What did I learn from this year of blogging: the best posts are the ones I thought would bore everyone to death. I didn’t expect anyone to care about spam comments, and yet! I should just blog exclusively about boring things.
Coming 2020: Boring As Usual- the world’s most uninteresting blog
See you all next year!
And by the way, you guys are great. I love writing posts for you, my ragtag band of misfits! I’m blessed to have a supportive audience that cares about *looks at smudged writing on hand* spam comments? Who reads this stuff-
*laughs* This was splendid.

Your blog is one of my favorites because of it’s absolutely random and absurd and quirky nature.

Oh, and in case you were wondering this is not a spam comment. Just to clarify. 😉

Thank you! And thanks for making that clear. XD You know, I’ve been remarkably low on spam ever since I made that post. I think I scared the spammers away, lol.
