The Sweet Tooth Tag!

Howdy. We’re here to talk about two of my absolute favorite things: books and sweets.

You excited? I’m excited.

Before we get crackin’, I know you guys have all been on the edge of your seats all week wondering about that special short story project I’m working on. Well, time to scoot back off the edge and get some questions answered.

What is it about? *crickets* I’m not going to write a synopsis until I absolutely have to, so let’s go with something more vague. Magic + crazy inventions + treacherous fairy courts + unlikely friendship + flower crowns and pistols + banter + kids who don’t fit in anywhere. {I say kids. They’re technically adults but shh they’re my kids now.}

When do I get to share it with you? Sooooon…. The first episode will be ready for its release into the world by next month, but maaaybe before then. Depends how rough edits are.

How many episodes is it? Your guess is as good as mine, my friend. More than one. I’m think less than 10, but I’ve only written one episode as of yet, so I don’t know.

I hope all are getting as hyped as I am!! *claps hands*

And without farther ado, the Sweet Tooth tag!

I was nominated by Catwing, whose blog you should totally go check out! Her sense of humor has got to be one of the most unique I’ve come across, plus she’s a flying cat.

Here are the rules:

  1. Thank and link back to the person who tagged you
  2. Link back to the creator of the tag- Jenna
  3. Tag at least five sweet other bloggers.
  4. Add your own question to the end with your favorite treat. Let your nominees know that they should pick 7 questions out of all of them to do (but yours included). That way the tag won’t get super-duper long with people adding their questions.

  1. A book or series you couldn’t get enough of

*in the distance, the earth rumbles* *the sky clouds over* *a sense of foreboding fills the air* YeS LET’S TALK ABOUT THE WINGFEATHER SAGA!!!! It’s one of my favorites series in the history of all the books, and I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve reread it. I am definitely not in denial about anything that happened in the last book what are you talking about.

2. LOLLIPOPS. A book you enjoyed as a little kid

The Secret Garden was a huge part of my childhood, and I still love it.

  1. SOUR PATCH KIDS. A book that reading once was enough

Enchanted by Alethea Kontis. It wasn’t… bad, it just wasn’t all that good. Except Rumbold. I feel a lot of things for him.

  1. KING-SIZED KIT KAT. A really long book you liked

Every single book in the Lord of the Rings. Altogether, the audiobooks of them I have are something like 50 hours. Not complaining, they’re some of my favorites.

  1. THREE MUSKATEERS. Your favorite trilogy

*slowly points to above question*

  1. ALMOND JOY. A book that most people didn’t like, but you did (or vise versa)

I usually don’t read hyped-up books because whoever decides which books are popular and I just have to agree to disagree, so… this one’s a little hard to answer. I did read the first book in The Hunger Games and enjoyed it, but then the second book just let me down. Does that count? We’re gonna say it counts.

  1. GUMMY BEAR. A retelling that you liked.

Do any of Amy’s retellings count? Maybe I’m little biased (read: I’m very biased), she’s great coming up with ideas that take cool elements from the original story but are also super original in themselves.

And my question: TOFFEE: A book you didn’t think you’d like, but you did.

As for tagging other blogs, how about, anyone who wants to steal it can, but we give my brain a break a not tag anyone specifically? Sounds good to me. And my brain. *one remaining reasonable brain cell takes a deep breath*

**You thought I was done but no! A couple housekeeping things** It has come to my attention that if you click on “books” or “my writing” in the menu, you just get all my posts. Thank you very much for letting me know! I will try to bend it to my will. Also, I don’t remember how new this is, but I’m excited about my follow button! Ain’t it fancy? So, while we’re talking about my website, what do you guys think? Is it easy to navigate and pretty and stuff? I want to know your opinions!
