Trying something new

*points at title* Get hyped, kids.

So, you may or may not have noticed this, but I’ve fallen into a routine with my blog. That’s good and bad: good, because something comes out every week, without fail. Bad, because the spark of excitement that makes it fun to write, and fun to read, has been dying.

Let’s not let that happen.

I’ve also had a CrisisTM when it comes to the direction I’m going, writing-wise. I’ve been experimenting with other forms of storytelling besides the traditional novel. Theatre. Songwriting. The very serial I’ve been posting on here has been an experiment! I know God gave me a passion for storytelling for a reason, I mean, nothing with Him is ever an accident. But what to do with that passion has been weighing heavily on me.

Which leads us to what we’re doing today. I love to draw, and I love to talk, so I’m going to combine both in an illustrated Q&A! Here’s the gist: you ask me questions in the comments, I record my ~fabulous~ voice answering, and because I’m not going to release my face upon the world just yet, I’m going to draw a little avatar in my place.

It’s gonna be a good time. And if nothing else, different.

So ask away! If you got questions about the Wishmaker, other stories of mine, me, when Mah Bro is coming back, anything, shoot.

After this, my summer schedule is going to take off like a hyperactive guinea pig on sugar, so there might be a break in our regularly scheduled program. You guys can survive without me, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

This kind of feels like kicking another baby off a cliff, but my firstborn seems to have survived, so let’s go for it.

  1. Ooooh, ambitious.

Here’s my question: If you could have any creature for a pet, fictional or non-fictional, what would you have?
    (I hope ice-breakers are okay.)

Who is your favorite character to talk to or that always makes your scene more fun?
    Who was your first character?
What inspired the Wishmaker (aka your flying baby that you kicked off a cliff :P)?
